Chris Nelson began his musical career by teaching himself piano at age 7. Soon after, he began to develop his music skills in Junior High School and began to perform in several bands and recording projects.
At age 24, Chris was introduced to the world of Rock-n-Roll Pianos, which was perfect for him because it was made up of music and comedy; two of Chris’ strong passions.
In 1994 Chris was given the opportunity to open his own piano bar, using a bar concept he developed in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
In 1997 Chris moved on to Vegas! He quickly became the head piano player at Times Square in New York, New York Hotel and Casino. He was entertaining thousands of people a year, making them smile; laugh and have a night they would always remember.
Chris was also performing with many different artists and other pianists performing in club work and shows at corporate events.
Currently Chris is a freelance musician performing all over the United States in venues such as Harrah’s Las Vegas, Sweet Caroline’s, Sluggers Chicago and Bar 9 New York City, just to name a few.
